The top two teams provided an entertaining afternoon of
football in a hard fought contest.
Castle Combe scored early in the first half through Sam Barrie but despite
creating further chances failed to break down a strong Warminster Highbury
defence again before half-time.
Combe started brightly in the second half and were rewarded for their
positive approach play with two goals in the space of ten minutes. The first
came from Adam Shipman and the second, following a corner, from a looping
header from Tom Stevens.

Warminster never gave up and pulled a goal back before Shipman scored his
second of the game with a superb free kick from 20 yards.
Zac Klukowski finished off an excellent afternoon's work for Castle Combe.
Marlborough went ahead against Castle Combe Colts 1 through tireless Ollie
Camm, who never stopped running.
Combe equalised just before the break and with the benefit of a strong wind
in the second half blew Marlborough away scoring four more goals in the
second half.
