Action from the semi-final between AFC Corsham Leopards and Trowbrige Town Youth (21552/1)
Trowbridge Wanderers and Melksham Park A got off to
a very even start in their semi-final, with both sides wary of one another
as the previous meetings between had been very close.
Midway through the first half Tommy Ireland tried to head a stinging shot
away but unfortunately diverted it past his own goalkeeper.
This fired up Melksham Park and a very good run up the wing ended with
Thomas Mack laying on a superb cross which was dispatched into the
Trowbridge goal by a grateful Nathan Trueman.
The second half was very close, with good play from both sides until Matthew
Harrod was unfortunately injured.
From the resultant dropped ball Sam Robinson scored an excellent goal to
make it 2-1 to Melksham Park.
AFC Corsham Leopards showed promise early in the first half of their
semi-final against Trowbridge Town Youth as Daniel Lewis slid in to almost
push the ball over the line, but quick reactions from the Trowbridge
goalkeeper denied the Leopards the early boost.
