FC Chippenham ran out 2-1 away winners over Trowbridge
Wanderers in the Under Nines Division One.
Kieran Fitzwater gave FC Chippenham the lead midway through the first half
and Jordan Young made it 2-0 after the break from the penalty spot before
Wanderers replied with a deflected Sean Drewitt shot.
FC Chippenham dominated most of the game, with Frankie Vaz and Young
controlling the midfield and they could have increased their score with
Callum Gunner hitting the woodwork on a couple of occasions.

Westbury Youth Lions drew 2-2 with Chippenham Youth White in their last home
game of the season.
Both sides played some fantastic football and produced a highly entertaining
game for the supporters.
Both sides went close in the first half, Alex Harrison hitting the post for
Westbury, but it was 0-0 at the break.
Westbury's first goal came from a long throw-in that took a deflection to
beat the goalkeeper shortly before Ben Starr made some room on the edge of
the Chippenham penalty area to drive in a left footed shot.
Chippenham responded with a nicely worked move to make it 2-1 and then
caught Westbury on the counter attack to score a second.
Both sides continued to play attacking football, with Adam Kenich hitting
the bar for Westbury late on, but the score was stay 2-2 at the whistle.
Under Nines Division Two
LARKHALL Athletic require three points from their remaining three games to
secure the title after running out 4-2 winners away to Melksham Park A.
Tom Walker, Drew Retford, Jamie Hall and Zac Povoas scored for Larkhall,
with Sam Robinson and George Hiscock replying for Park.
Under Nines Division Three
TROWBRIDGE Town Youth B ran out 2-1 winners at home to Bradford Town Youth
A, with Quinon Barham (2) scoring for Trowbridge and Ollie Coghlan replying
for Bradford.
Adam Bouchama scored both goals for Trowbridge Town Youth D in their 2-1
home win against Castle Combe Colts.
Tom Wodecki scored for Combe.
Under Nines Division Four
CHAMPIONS White Horse Juniors were held to a 2-2 draw in their home game
against Trowbridge Wanderers B.
Ashley Daniels and Aaron Batson scored for White Horse.
Under Nines Division Six
IN a highly competitive and entertaining match Melksham Magpies ran out 3-2
winners over Larkhall Athletic.
Melksham took an early lead through Haydn Sears but Larkhall came back well
to lead 2-1 at half time, with goals from Lucas Ojolo and Nick Atwell.
Melksham drew level after a period of pressure after a handball in the area.
Will Perkins stepped up to put away a well taken penalty.
The game looked to be heading for a draw before Alex Wilkes fired home an
excellent shot with virtually the last kick of the game.
It was an unfortunate way to end the game for Larkhall but both teams
deserve praise for a very well played match.
Chippenham Town Youth are still in the running to take the title after
running out 4-1 winners away to Trowbridge Town Youth D. Ben Berkley (2),
Ben Hislop and Dan Carter scored for Chippenham, with Callum Norris replying
for Trowbridge.
It was an all-girl effort that got Westbury Youth Tigers off the mark
against Bradford Town Youth, when Ella Dyer converted Ellie Osborne's nicely
placed corner.
Alex Brimble made it 2-0 before the break.
From then on Bradford got into the game, making it difficult for Westbury
and in the second half pulled it back to 2-1 with less than ten minutes to
go.
Jacob Humphrey eventually got Westbury's third goal when he found some room
on the edge of the box to drive in a fine left footed shot to give Westbury
the win.
