George’s double sets up victory

FC Chippenham took a 3-0 lead at the break before going on to finish 4-1 winners away to Warminster Highbury in their Under 10s Blue Division game.

George Gernonn-Reidy (2), Sam Watson and Luke Jacomb scored for Chippenham.

The Warminster goalkeeper, who is not their regular keeper but an outfield player, warrants a special mention as he was outstanding and made several breathtaking saves.

Trowbridge Town B do not want the season to end after their second win in two weeks.

A lively encounter with Devizes saw the home team take the lead with a well taken corner. Devizes threatened from set-pieces while Trowbridge dominated in open play.

The second half saw K Oakley come out on the pitch to be replaced by Wilkins-Pratt in the Trowbridge goal and the goalkeeper showed the rest how to do it with a well taken hat-trick.

Other scorers for Trowbridge were K Webb (2), B Webb and E Farion. Devizes hit two back with some fine counter attacking.

Under 10s Purple Division

MELKSHAM Town Youth Magpies got off to a great start against Marshfield Lions in their last game of the season.

A first minute goal from Callum McRandel and a header from a corner from Edward Wicks put the Magpies 2-0 up at half-time.

Marshfield quickly came back with two goals before Callum Thorburn sent a 25 yard rocket of a shot into the back of the net to claim the points for the Magpies .

Under 10s Yellow Division

CALLUM Anslow scored four of White Horse Juniors Dragons' six goals in their 6-3 away win against Marshfield Juniors.

Chris King (2) also scored for White Horse, with Ellie Pressdee, Sophia Kyriakides and an own goal replying for Marshfield.
