PINK Fraud, the UK's top Pink Floyd tribute band, will be returning to Melksham on Saturday May 17 to perform a concert at Melksham's Assembly Hall.

The band, regarded as the UK's most authentic tribute to Pink Floyd, will perform the classic Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety. Other classic Pink Floyd tracks from the period 1967-1979 will complete the rest of the show, which is expected to last over two hours.

The show comes with a superb sound system, full lighting rig and back projection which has drawn praise all over the country.

Promoter Tom Sangster says it has taken over a year to bring the band back to Melksham.

"I saw the band perform at the Glastonbury Festival last year and they went down a storm there. They were one of three tribute bands who appeared at Glastonbury, the others being Sgt Pepper's Only Dart Board Band and the Bootleg Beatles.

"They have set such a high standard for others to follow," he said.

After the phenomenal ticket demand for the band's last gig in Melksham last year, there is likely to be a similar rush this year: tickets at £10 go on sale tomorrow at Melksham Assembly Hall, Tourist Information Centres in Bradford on Avon, Melksham, and Trowbridge and Mark's Musical Instruments, Melksham. Don't be disappointed......
