NEW mum Sarah Doman is keen to get her figure back to normal as soon as possible after gaining just one-and-a-half stone during pregnancy.
Ella Louise is Miss Doman's first born and first granddaughter for Sandy Holloway, who was with Miss Doman and dad Jack Garnett during labour.
Miss Doman, who works at a nursing home in Shepton Mallet, said: "The pregnancy was brilliant. I didn't have any cravings. I did eat quite a lot of cream cakes though but that was just an excuse.
Despite a pleasant pregnancy, Miss Doman admits the labour wasn't so enjoyable.
She said: "I think anyone would say it went well but I found if quite difficult. It was painful and you don't know what to expect.
"I do plan to have more. I did say never again but I do want them now."
After giving birth at the maternity unit in Trowbridge Hospital, Miss Doman said she couldn't have done it without the help of the nurses.
She said: "I just want to say thank you so much to the unit; they were brilliant. They are very, very good here and have helped me so much."
Born: April 25 at 00:10am, Weight: 7lb 2oz, Parents: Sarah Doman, 22, and Jack Garnett, 23, of Duke Street, Trowbridge.
