JUST five months after finding out she was pregnant new mum Janine Wakelin gave birth to baby Alexus in Trowbridge Hospital on Sunday.
Miss Wakelin, 17, of Warminster Road, Westbury, discovered she was already four months pregnant in June. She said: "I hadn't put on any weight and only realised I was pregnant when I felt something kicking inside me.
"Towards the end I was being sick every morning and I couldn't eat because I kept being sick. Now she's out I feel fine.
"I did have one craving, for peanut butter and cucumber on toast, but we didn't have any cucumber. When I was in labour I kept wanting a strawberry Fruit Shoot."
She was in labour for two-and-a-half hours, with the baby born within 14 minutes.
Miss Wakelin's partner Wayne Humphries, 17, was at her side throughout the birth. He said: "We chose the name Alexus because we've always liked it. Rheana is after my friend Rhys, who has helped us out a lot.
"Mary was the name of my aunt and godmother, who recently passed away."
Born: November 27, 4.44am Weight: 6lb 6oz Parents: Janine Wakelin and Wayne Humphries, of Westbury
