Bank manager Louise Bronson and her husband Michael are celebrating after the birth of their first baby boy, Harry James Bronson.

The couple, who have been married for two years, met 12 years ago when they studied together at university in Plymouth.

They married in north Devon, where Mrs Bronson comes from.

Mrs Bronson, 31, said her 19 hours of labour at the maternity unit at Trowbridge Community Hospital went really well.

She said: “At four in the morning my waters broke.

“Poor Mike looked like a scared rabbit caught in the headlights of a car. It was only at 11.26pm that night that I finally gave birth.

“I want to thank the staff at the hospital because they were really supportive.

“As for my pregnancy, it went really well too. I didn’t have any strange cravings, but I did eat a lot more chocolate than usual.”

Mr Bronson, 33, is the managing director of a marketing company and is originally from Melksham.
