Celebrating
BIRTH: Gabriella Fyall
THERE was joy on Easter Sunday when baby Gabriella was born at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
First time mother Katie Fyall was moved to the RUH from Trowbridge Hospital after a few complications.
She said: "The labour started off fine and then things slowed down. There were a few complications so I was moved to Bath where I had a forceps delivery.
"We came back to Trowbridge hospital on Sunday night."
Mrs Fyall's pregnancy went well and everything is in place for Gabriella to go home.
Mrs Fyall said: "The pregnancy was fine, all went swimmingly well.
"I just carried on as normal. I had a sweet tooth during the last few weeks, but I just think she needed fattening up a bit.
"The family haven't been allowed in because of all the sickness bugs.
"Jason was there at the birth and he's over the moon.
"So far it's been OK, everything is done at home. The nursery is all ready."
Born: March 23, 1am,
Weight: 7lb 11oz,
Parents: Katie Fyall, 30, and Jason Fyall, 36, of Whiterow Park, Trowbridge.
