Celebrating
BIRTH: Henry Ian Edward Moore
BABY Henry came racing into the world this month as the son of a Wiltshire driving champion.
Henry is the first child for Natasha and Ed Moore, of Bowerhill.
Mr Moore, 31, is Castle Combe's Formula Ford racing champion, having powered to victory in the Golden Helmet Trophy on Easter Monday.
As far as having baby Henry was concerned, Natasha, 32, was glad to cross the finishing line.
"We're absolutely over the moon. He's quite a big baby, and I was in labour for 29 hours from start to finish," she said.
"He's beautiful and perfect in every way."
Born at Trowbridge Hospital, Henry arrived on time, and his mother had nothing but praise for the staff who helped deliver him.
"The midwives were absolutely fantastic, and the after care helps you to go home and enjoy being with your baby," she said.
The couple run the Motorsport Events business, which allows car enthusiasts to take their own vehicles to venues and race them in a controlled environment with coaching. Airfields at Keevil and Hullavington are to be used for upcoming events.
Mrs Moore said: "A lot of people locally would like to know when Henry was born because they'd have seen me waddling round in the last few months.
"I'd like to say that I had a craving for chalk or cheese or something, but unfortunately, there was nothing."
