Find a date
Forget bars and clubs, visit somewhere less obvious to bag a man.
1. Evening classes are great places to meet men in a non-pressured environment.
Try learning a new skill or language. It will give you common ground to start a conversation. Dance classes are even better, as you will also have physical contact with lots of men.
2. Cultural events: art gallery openings and plays at the theatre are both places where it's socially acceptable to go by yourself and talk to like-minded people about the exhibition or play.
3. Late night shopping: it might
seem unlikely but supermarkets are ideal for scoping out single men - just have a look in their basket and you'll be able to work out whether they're single or not. Strike up a conversation in the wine aisle, or ask for some help getting something from a high shelf - all the old tricks might seem old-fashioned, but they still work the best.
