get updated information about instore discounts and promotions.
3. When you're looking for a specific item, check out auction sites such as eBay.co.uk or buy from secondhand stores on sites such as www.amazon.co.uk
4. Don't buy junk in the sales just because it's half-price. Stock up on seasonal items such as Christmas cards in the New Year or presents that can be used for birthdays throughout the year.
