ENTERTAINER Damon Scott shot to fame for his performance on ITV's Britain's Got Talent contest, impressing a panel of judges including TV's Mr Nasty Simon Cowell.
Mr Scott was born in 1979 in Salisbury where he now lives with his parents Ron and Sue. People in Wiltshire will most likely remember him for his trademark routine as a singer and puppeteer with Bubbles the Monkey at the Wiltshire Times-sponsored Crimestoppers Family Funday last year.
How would your best friend describe you?
He would probably say that I was a bit of a
practical joker, always making people laugh.
But at the same time I'm a very sensitive and a caring person.
Where would you recommend for a great evening out?
advertisement
Definitely London every time. Shopping in the day then on to a show followed by a few pubs, and then a club in the evening.
What do you do for fun?
I think alongside the norm, going out for meals and drinks with friends.
Doing my shows and getting to travel all over the world with my act meeting all different people from all walks of life has to be when I have the most fun.
What motto or phrase do you try to live your life by?
Live each day as if it's your last, because you never know what will happen tomorrow.
Who in the public eye do you most respect and why?
That would have to be my friend Mr Simon Cowell for being able to recognise great talent when he sees it.
No but seriously, I admire him as a businessman, and as a person, and he has been a fantastic mentor to me. So you could say "Simon's Got Talent".
What is your biggest regret?
My only big regret in life is picking up that first ever cigarette.
What is your favourite TV programme or film and why?
I'm a bit of a soap freak, I watch too many of them. I'm loving Lost at the moment when I'm not lost'.
Film wise it has to be Frequency. I really believe life could be on a parallel universe to what we have lived before.
What makes you sad?
Seeing my friends or family sad.
Describe your perfect day.
Apart from a day out to London it would have to be going to the beach in the summer with a group of friends and stopping on the way there for a beer garden pub lunch.
