My Wiltshire Life - Nicola Hoole
Nicola Hoole
Nicola Hoole

NICOLA Hoole, 18, of Hollis Way, Southwick, is captain of the under 20s England women's rugby team.

The John of Gaunt sixth former is studying PE, Psychology and Science and plays for Bath RFC when not representing her country. She played rugby for Trowbridge from the age of five and is hoping to get over an ankle injury to take part in a major play off match soon.

How would your best friend describe you?

Modest, focused and up for a laugh and a bit of banter. I'm true to myself.

Where would you recommend for a great evening out?

It doesn't matter where you go just as along as the company is good.

What do you do for fun?

I'm a bit of a socialite and spend a lot of time with my friends at Trowbridge Rugby Club. I watch a few rugby matches now and again.

What motto or phrase do you try to live your life by?

You have to live life to the full because you never know what is going to happen.

Who in the public eye do you most respect and why?

I respect former England captain Martin Johnson for his work both on and off the pitch. He is a talented and awesome player.

What is your biggest regret?

I don't have any regrets.

What is your favourite TV programme or film and why?

I love comedy film Anchorman because it makes me laugh every time.

What makes you sad?

Seeing friends get badly hurt and knowing you can do nothing to help.

Describe your perfect day.

I would get up late. Play rugby and win the match. Then I would socialise with friends to celebrate and have a bit of a late night.
