An A-Z of services provided by the District Council was delivered to households during the summer.

The new directory - which is part of a project to improve customer service - contains information about all of the services people can obtain from the Council.

Cllr Andrew Davis, the policy and communications portfolio holder, said: "Improving customer service is one of our top priorities. In response to customer feedback we have made a number of changes making it much easier for people to access our services and to ensure that people have a better experience when dealing with the council.

"These include a single contact telephone number, 01225 776655, for all enquiries and a new customer services unit, with staff who can deal with a wide range of queries without the need to pass people around the organisation. "
