Bath & Wilts Visitor Guide
Welcome to Wiltshire, a county steeped in history and beauty.
Within the wide expanses of the Wiltshire Downs are the ancient monuments of
Stonehenge and Avebury stone circle and numerous white horses can be found
carved into hillsides. In the south lies the magnificent cathedral at
Salisbury and in the north, the quaint villages of Lacock and Castle Combe.
Wiltshire has so much to offer visitors, from museums, stately homes and
gardens to safari parks and pretty market towns.
There are also some great village pubs to try and some fine restaurants.
With its rolling countryside, Wiltshire is also a great place for walkers
and cyclists with plenty to explore en route.
