The excessive vegetation on the footpath in Monkton Park, Chippenham, near the river is a major health and safety issue.
There was nearly a crash with a bike and a pedestrian recently and, despite two or three emails to Balfour Beatty, no action has been taken.
Visibility on the path is poor with only a two-foot gap in at least one place and we all get wet after rain.
This has always been dealt with promptly in the last and previous years Many of us feel that the Balfour Beatty contract has been a fiasco.
John Lewin, Sadlers Mead, Chippenham.
