In the Wiltshire Times, June 20, Mr Thomson, boss of County Highways, dismissed claims that the lawns outside County Hall had special treatment.
Does he think that local ratepayers live in cloud cuckoo land? The grass by my house looks like a farmers’ field ready for hay making after it was hacked down by a strimmer.
It only got cut because I complained that it was waist high. I suggest he takes a walk around the surrounding area. Then maybe he will retract that statement.
