To support Chris and Sue Ager, of Hawkeridge (letters, August 1), I live in North Bradley and it is too late for us.

I received an invite to the meeting about Hitachi the evening before and could not attend due to the short notice. The planning involved building on a rural buffer and I think everyone can see what was eventually built. The building is huge and built so close to the road that there is no option of landscaping that will reduce the impact on the surrounding area.

Previously the White Horse Business Park received great reviews because of its landscaping but obviously that no longer applied when considering Hitachi, even though this was a rural buffer.

North Bradley is being swamped and has had to contend with massive increase in heavy traffic over recent years. It looks like Hawkeridge is next.

Why does Trowbridge keep making massive mistakes about its development with no clear goal?
