Elderly will lose out
Regarding Wiltshire Council’s plan to make it that bus passes can only be used after 9.30am during week days, and the online consultation about this issue.
Many of the elderly do not have a computer so will not be able to be consulted, unless they have someone to help ,and the elderly are the main ones who use the bus pass.
Many of them may have hospital or doctors appointments before or at 9am, and surely most of the commuters are in work by 9am, albeit some may work flexi hours.
