If Mrs Abrook (Letters, August 29) checked my website www.ernie clark.org.uk, subscribed to my e-newsletter, or followed me on Twitter she might find herself better informed than she seems to be.
I, and I’m sure every other councillor in Wiltshire, must be grateful for her incisive advice on how to discharge our duty to those who elect us.
The problems of the B3105 are well known and every possible step to reduce/remove the problems were attempted long before Mrs Abrook ever moved into the village.
Speeding, however, is one issue where something can be done. Both my recent newsletter and that from the parish council highlighted the issue and requested new members for the re-launched Community Speed Watch.
