I have to say that I agree with the public disgust at the weak sentence that those two dog killers received.
We try to educate people in other parts of the world to have more respect for their animals and then find out that folks in our midst are capable of such monstrous actions.
How can anyone stand and watch the struggle for five to 10 minutes and even describe afterwards the dog’s dying noises to a lobster being cooked ?
There is plenty of help out there to be explored and if Reid feels she is now shunned by her community that is what she should expect and deserves. How the dog came into Reid’s household has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they hanged it. A lifetime ban on keeping animals would have been appropriate.
