Can anyone explain why an ‘unsuitable for HGVs’ sign has appeared at the top of Market Street, Bradford on Avon?
It points down Newtown, but given that to see it an HGV first has to navigate the town bridge (forbidden by the weight limit) and then second Market Street itself, it seems to me to be a completely useless waste of money.
If the council has cash to spare, could they please use it in support of the town’s Lorry Watch or even for funding that bypass consultation Mike Roberts promised in his town council election campaign.
I’d appreciate your investigating this matter please.
Vicky Ody, Downs Close, Bradford on Avon.
