Wiltshire Wildlife Trust believes that solar farms can be beneficial for biodiversity, helping improve wildlife habitats by creating new wildflower meadows and a haven for bees, butterflies and a host of other wildlife.

We’re now inviting people to invest in Wiltshire Wildlife Community Energy, which plans to build the Braydon Manor Farm solar array in North Wiltshire. This could become the largest community-owned solar scheme in the UK – something we think all Wiltshire residents could be proud of.

It will give a good financial return on investment, will support local environmental projects through a community fund and help fund the trust’s vital wildlife conservation work.

We hope that giving local people the chance to own a share of a renewable energy project and share its benefits will help to overcome their concerns.
