The Chippenham Lions had another successful fundraising champaign this Christmas, when they visited 16 areas with their carol float, collected at two superstores and sold mulled wine at the Corsham lights switch-on. They raised about £10,500, despite some very wet evenings. A very rewarding experience not just for raising funds, but also to see that the magic still works with the kiddies lined up to greet Santa.
The club would like to thank the people of Corsham and Chippenham for their generosity.
Martin Horton, Lions Club of Chippenham.
