Mr Styles (January 9) has a curious logic. If the problem does not exist, why is he suggesting a solution to this non-existent problem?
I agree that the solution is simple, but how many people does he know with cordless phones who also own a corded phone?
When the electricity fails it is far too late to dash out with a fiver to buy a corded phone. Does Mr Styles possess a corded phone? I do.
