I had to respond to the letter by Mr Mundy. I have been so shocked at the idiotic decision to change the roundabout anyway to keep the traffic moving, regardless of the new road, which is too small anyway. It beggars belief.
Who designs these things? I think there was no need to waste all of the money to even alter the said roundabout at all. I’ve been a truck driver for nearly 30 years and can’t believe the poor decisions made on our highways, from patching to dangerous alterations like this at Hilperton.
Before the serious accidents occur, they need to block the whole left-hand lane off or reopen it from the Red Admiral roundabout to the Fieldways roundabout.
A very serious waste of the town’s money.
