Sweet retirement
May I through your paper wish the lady who ran the sweet shop in the Shires a happy retirement.
It is a sad occasion as it is another lovely shopping experience gone.
It was a very friendly shop and my granddaughter loved going there as I’m sure other children did.
I don’t know this lady personally, but on seeing her notice in the shop window, I was sad to know this lovely friendly shop was closing.
