On behalf of our family we would like to thank all the people who stopped to help when my father collapsed last Wednesday evening in Bradford on Avon.

On Wednesday, September 9 at around 7.15pm, my father, who was walking with my mother on the Winsley Road, near to Downs View in Bradford on Avon, suddenly collapsed, near to the bus stop on the Winsley Road, and was unconscious for a period of time.

Two young lads stopped to offer help. They called an ambulance and put my father in the recovery position. A number of other people also stopped to help and waited with them until the ambulance arrived.

Unfortunately my mother did not manage to get any names or contact details for any of these people to be able to thank them personally, so by putting this letter in the paper, it is a way of thanking them for all their kindness and help. My father is now at home and recovering well.
