I HAVE just learnt that the grass cutting is likely to be cut back to just once a month because the council does not have the funds. It has already cut the bus services which is a vital service for the elderly and vulnerable.

The council keeps collecting our rates but the service is going down and the standards of work are often very poor. It makes huge profits from its car parks which are mysteriously lost in transit and never appear to go where they are needed.

Since the council went to tendered contracts under Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher the rates have doubled and the costs keep going up. Would it now be more sensible to halt privatisation of public services and make them again in house and within a affordable budget?

Can you also sort out the signpost at the top of County Way that is near to collapse and rusted at the bottom which must be visible to your council workers in County Hall, or do they go around with blinkers on?

I have already sent loads of pictures of different problems and to date most have not bring fixed, so why do I need to bother taking a photo of this sign?

The bin collections are also a disgrace and recycling a complete joke. £40 for green waste collection is utterly poor management by people earning more than yourself. Something is not adding up and money is being too often lost from our councils.
