I AGREE with H Hazel’s letter, on Friday, January 8. What if something happens to Bradford bridge? There is no longer a lorry watch, you only have to be in town to see the amount of extra large lorries using the bridge. Word has got around that they will not get fined. The blame lies with the council for pulling the plug on the lorry watch.
How will the shops fare if the bridge collapses, which it will one day? Maybe they should change their minds about a bypass.
