UNBELIEVABLE! A £30 million bypass is seriously being considered for Melksham. Why, when the problems there are surely minor compared with those of Bradford on Avon?
Surely Melksham is more or less bypassed already and only vehicles needing to be in the centre actually go there. The narrow medieval bridge in Bradford carries all the through traffic, as well as tourists and the locals trying to go about their business. Someone take pity on us, unable to move or cross the street in safety while choking on the foul fumes of a million vehicles!
