Racism condemned
IN THE face of recent threats and attacks on people from the EU and beyond, the Calne branch of North Wiltshire Labour Party would like to state that all of us, whether we voted for Brexit or not, abhor the racism and xenophobia that seems to have been unleashed.
We welcome the mixture of cultures and nationalities represented in Britain and will defend the right of people from the EU and elsewhere in the world now living in this country to remain here and participate in the life of our community. Racism and xenophobia are not welcome here and we want no part of them.
