FURTHER to your article about the issues facing Trowbridge town centre in the Wiltshire Times on April 14, I am writing to correct your headline that I was “banned” from speaking to your reporter.
Unfortunately due to the Easter holidays and business commitments we weren’t able to accommodate an interview and therefore sent our apologies and provided your reporter with a statement.
As a business, we are excited and positive about the future of Trowbridge. We have confidence in Trowbridge town centre and our letting agents are currently in discussion with two new tenants which is a positive step.
We have recently benefited from an investment from our landlords and would like to reiterate to the local community that we are committed to ensuring The Shires shopping centre remains an attractive proposition for retailers and customers now and in the future.
