LIKE so many people living and working in the area, it is sad to witness the town centre losing many businesses and so many shops becoming empty.
What is the county council doing to prevent this?
Do any of the county councillors visit or try to shop in Trowbridge, the county town of Wiltshire?
Please listen and do something about it before it is too late.
The streets are littered, the place needs to be cleaned up to give folk encouragement to support the town.
Car parking is another issue. Attention should to be given to the prohibitive parking charges. Why not offer an incentive to park, for example one-hour free parking?
Let us see full car parks again with people shopping in the centre of Trowbridge.
I feel sure the town council and Chamber of Commerce would welcome the county council to address these issues.
