Whilst Wiltshires roads are in a dire state, with potholes and general bad repairs. The pavements are an endurance test for many. Whether they be mums with pushchairs, visually impaired, elderly with sticks/frames, wheelchair users or mobility scooters, these people encounter badly repaired, uneven pavements plus the numerous cars etc parked on them.
I myself use a mobility scooter and am often compelled to use the road (even though it’s road legal), which leaves me vulnerable to vehicles trying to avoid the potholes etc.
