Collection thanks
On behalf of the Trowbridge and District Christian Aid Committee, may I thank all the people of Trowbridge and the surrounding villages for their extremely generous response to the recent house-to-house collection.
The amount collected was £3,692.94 which will be used around the world in more than 50 countries, to alleviate the suffering of those less fortunate than ourselves. In addition we are most grateful for those who, by endorsing their name and address on the envelopes, will enable a further £355.75 to be tax refunded by the Government.
