The Trowbridge Talking News voluntary group continues to provide a service to people with impaired vision in Trowbridge and the surrounding area by sending them each week a summary of the Wilshire Times recorded on a memory stick so that they are not excluded from whatever is happening in the local area.
The annual general meeting of Trowbridge Talking News will be held on August 9, at 7.45pm at Trowbridge Rugby Football Club, Doric Park, Devizes Road, Hilperton, when the management committee will be elected.
Anyone who supports this service or anyone wishing to learn more about it is cordially invited to attend.
TTN is always keen to recruit readers who summarise the news and duplicators who undertake the task of circulating the memory sticks to the clients.
