ST Stephen’s Place car park in Trowbridge has ruined an afternoon out.
I parked in the car park earlier in the morning with a three-hour free ticket displayed. I was less than an hour.
I came back for the 4.15pm showing of Cars 3 as a special surprise for my six-year-old son.
We left early as he didn’t feel well. I came out and found I had got a ticket as apparently I had violated their rules.
I had used car park twice in one day with two free tickets.
Had I known that you are not welcome to use the leisure facilities twice in a day (eg, breakfast and dinner) then I would have gone elsewhere.
I went back to look and it does say only one free park per day but at bottom of all the other information.
A trip to cinema = £80.
Getting stung by the car park company = priceless.
