1. Removing the what’s on page in the Wiltshire Times is detrimental to lots of charities and events who value the spread of information that your newspaper can give.
Putting it online only will deter a lot of readers who prefer to have the newspaper in reality, and therefore will miss the events that could and should have been supported.
2. There seems to have been numerous cables stretched across the roads around Southwick, North Bradley and County Way, Trowbridge. I presume these are for counting traffic. A census perhaps? For what purpose? The amount of traffic that these roads could handle in the future when all the proposed houses are built?
I am concerned about the timing of this count. This is holiday time. People have been on holiday for the last month and now the schools have broken up. The figures will not be accurate, and will undoubtedly be lighter.
I look forward to some clarity from the Wiltshire Council or potential developers on this matter.
