Parking ticket fiasco
Further to last week’s Wiltshire Times regarding shoppers’ fury in ‘free’ car park can I just add that there were a number of tickets issued to people parking at the Toby Carvery.
After making contact with the restaurant I was advised that Smart Parking were ‘waiving’ ALL tickets issued prior to July 4. I appealed to Smart Parking with this information but still received – appeal not approved. Motorists can appeal further via the POPLA website: popla.co.uk. My appeal is ongoing with POPLA.
