2017 sees the 50th anniversary of Oxfam in Devizes.
Many people have volunteered for us in that time and we would like to get back in touch with them. If you have been a volunteer, or know someone who has, please do let us know.
To mark the occasion the charity will be holding a get-together, with tea and cake, from 2pm to 4.30pm on the afternoon of Saturday, September 23, at St John’s Parish Rooms in Long Street.
The Mayor will be there to meet volunteers, as will Mark Allum of Antiques Roadshow. Mark will also be happy to look at collectables brought along on the day, to give a little background and an idea of value.
Many people have supported the charity over these 50 years, it would be really good to talk to past volunteers and invite them to the event.
