Killing is wrong

So Alice Barnard (Wiltshire Times, December 17) enjoys the cruel and sadistic pleasure of hunting and killing an animal for fun. We are living in the 21st century and such barbaric forms of entertainment are supposed to be banned. If torturing animals is against the law then why is chasing a fox to its death not considered torture?
