Last year, more than £50,000 was raised in Wiltshire for CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people. The money was raised through individuals, local corporates and community voluntary groups in Wiltshire.

As part of this fundraising effort, Childhood Awareness Month in December saw thousands of volunteers across the UK, including many in Wiltshire, take part in our Big Bucket Collection – through hundreds of collections, more than £100,000 was raised, a fantastic amount which will make a huge difference to children with cancer and their families in the local community. We hope that in 2012, people will continue to give their much-needed support.
