CHING Carolyn Published author and artist's wife. Died peacefully in her sleep on the 14th of May 2022. Born in Wellington, New Zealand in 1938, she was extremely successful in advertising until she moved to England in 78 to live with her beloved husband Raymond Harris Ching. She supported Raymond for many years as an artist's wife, traveling with him between New Zealand, Australia and the UK. Forever at his side to help with artists requests she also had time to write and became a published author of 7 books, including the biography of Raymond Ching. She has also helped in food science along with Professor Ebringer to produce a book that became a bestseller to support medical conditions and eat without starch. Always an amazing woman, incredibly kind, extremely interesting, intelligent and a great cook. Dearly loved wife of Raymond Harris Ching, loving Mother to Tanya, a caring Grandma to Leonidas, Alexander and Lily. Siblings - Graeme Smith, Glyns Wenzel, Warren smith. Parents - Grace and Andrew Smith. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. The funeral service is to take place at 2 pm, on Wednesday 1st June 2022 at Holy Trinity Church, Bradford On Avon. Flowers will be greatly received to DJ Bewley Funeral Directors, Manvers Street, Trowbridge.

Carolyn was an amazing woman. Sharon and I were so fortunate to have spent some great times with her in The States and in England. She was extremely capable in so many fields but especially with her care of Ray. She was his soulmate. I will treasure the times we did share.
