The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following lengths of roads: a) A360 (Part) Woodford; from its junction with Camp Hill for a distance of approximately 670 metres in a northerly direction; b) A360 (Part), Woodford; from its junction with The Avenue for a distance of approximately 670 metres in a southerly direction; c) Camp Hill (Part) Woodford; from its junction with A360 for a distance of approximately 300 metres in a easterly direction; d) The Avenue (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with A360 for a distance of approximately 670 metres in a westerly direction to enable Galamast Construction to carry out construction of a new roundabout. The speed limit restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This order will come into operation on 10 June 2019 and will be required for 04 months. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
1. The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Swallowcliffe) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2019

2. The County of Wiltshire (C316, Swallowcliffe) (Restricted Roads) Order 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 28 May 2019 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Swallowcliffe) (restricted Roads) Order 1997 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 2 and to introduce a 20mph speed limit on C316 (including length of Rookery Lane) - from a point 185 metres east of its junction with High Street, Ansty to its junction with UC 962702 at Swallowcliffe Manor; Loders Lane - from its junction with UC 962704 to a point 170 metres south west of that junction; UC 962701 (including Gigant Street) - the complete length (both east and west arms); UC 962704 - from its junction with C316 Rookery Lane to a point 400 metres south east of its junction with Loders Lane. A copy of the Orders and plan may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation
on 10 June 2019.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Manor Farm Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Milford Mill Road to its junction with Westbourne Close to enable Vodafone to install duct in the carriageway. Alternative route: via Shady Bower - Laverstock Road - Riverside Road - Manor Farm Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 July 2019 and the closure will be required until 05 July 2019. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: B) North Street (Part), Wilton; from its junction with Market Place for a distance of approximately 35 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to repair a blocked sewer. Alternative route: via North Street (unaffected length) - Russell Street -Kingsbury Square - Silver Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 June 2019 and the closure will be required until 14 June 2019. For further information please contact Kerry Miles (Wessex Water) on 07557860463. C) A27 (Part), Whiteparish; from property known as Brickworth Cottage for a distance of approximately 1,705 metres in an easterly direction to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via A27 (unaffected length) -A36 - A3090 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 June 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 16 July 2019.
