Blackwater Junction - Night-time Closures and Temporary Speed Limit -Highway Improvement Works TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic. WHAT:
Road closed to all vehicles and no parking -no waiting at any time and no loading/ unloading at any time

Temporary speed limit of 30mph for all vehicles travelling on the highway. The speed limit will be in operation as and when indicated by the signs on site.

WHERE: From Hurn Roundabout to the eastern junction of Blackwater Junction, and both the on and off sliproads of the north carriageway of the A338 at Blackwater Junction
WHY: Highway Improvement Works by BCP WHEN: Anticipated dates 8th July 2019 until 22nd July 2019
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety. DIVERSION: Via Hurn Road, Fairmile Road, Fountain Roundabout, Barrack Road, Iford Bridge, Castle Lane, Wimborne Road, Whiteleg Way, New Road, Christchurch Road, Parley Lane

These arrangements may be extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
