ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A36 TRUNK ROAD (CROCKERTON TO DEPTFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (a) has made an Order on the A36 trunk road near Warminster in the County of Wiltshire to allow resurfacing and general maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place overnight (20.00 to 06.00) commencing on or after 9 August 2019 and be completed by 22 August 2019.
The effect of the Order will be to:
(a) authorise the overnight closure of the A36 northbound and southbound between Deptford Junction and Crockerton Roundabout;

(b) authorise the overnight closure of the slip roads from the A303 eastbound to the A36;

(c) authorise the closure of the laybys on the length of the A36 given at (a) above;

During the closure and described above, traffic will be diverted via the A350 and A303.
The closures (which will not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles), and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order will come into force on 7 August 2019 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
