THE BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH (HEDGE END, WEST END AND BOTLEY) (AMENDMENT NO. 8) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Council of the Borough of Eastleigh (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") pursuant to arrangements made with the Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby proposes to make the above Order, the effects of which would be to: 1. Revoke The Borough of Eastleigh (Upper St Helens Road, Hedge End) Experimental Order 2018 in its entirety 2. Introduce “No waiting at any time” restrictions in the following roads: Heath House Close, both sides from its junction with Heath House Lane southwards for 15 metres; Heath House Lane, south side from a point 6 metres east of its junction with Heath House Close westwards to the property boundary between “Tremar” and 2 Fredricks Cottages; Lyons Place, south-western closed end from the south-eastern kerbline north-eastwards for 2 metres, south-east side from the south-western closed end north-eastwards for 7 metres; Stockholm Drive north-east side from its junction with Upper St Helens Road south-eastwards for 10 metres; south-west side from its junction with Upper St Helens Road south-eastwards for 16 metres; Upper St Helens Road north-west side from 44.5 metres north of Heath House Lane north-westwards to a point 83 metres south-west of Lyons Place, and from 16.5 metres north-east of Lyons Place north-eastwards to a point 5 metres north-east of the boundary of Nos 47b & 49; south-east side from a point 15 metres south-west of its junction with Stockholm Drive north-eastwards to a point 23 metres north-east of that junction. A copy of the Order together with all plans showing the roads to which the Order relates and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Eastleigh House, Upper Market Street, Eastleigh during normal office hours or on the Council’s website: www.eastleigh.gov.uk/TRO. Objections to these proposals together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing or via the form on the Council’s website to the undersigned by 25 February 2020. Letters of support will also be accepted during this time.
