Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The County of Wiltshire (Keepers Road, Roundway, Devizes) (Prohibition of Driving)

(Bus Gate) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be as follows: To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Keepers Road, Roundway) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2012 to remove the current physical barrier bus gate (prohibition of driving) and to introduce a prohibition of driving on Keepers Road with exemptions for buses and pedal cycles only, implementing a bus gate which will operate by a camera enforcement system. Copies of the draft Order, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen Devizes Library, Sheep Street, Devizes between the hours of 9.30am - 7pm Monday and Thursday, 9.30am - 5pm Tuesday and Friday, 9.30am - 12.30pm Wednesday and 9.30am - 4pm Saturday until 20 April 2020. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Lower Road (Part), Erlestoke; for a distance of approximately 30 metres each side of the Railway Bridge in a north and southerly direction to enable Centurion to carry out a bridge examination. Alternative route: via Lower Road (unaffected length) - New Road - Goose Street - The Green - Norney Road - Mill Road - High Street - Cheverall Road - A360 - B3098 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 15 January 2020 will now recommence on 23 March 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for one day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Primrose Hill, Tockenham; from its junction with Tockenham Corner to its junction with Tockenham; Tockenham (Part), Tockenham; from its junction with Primrose Hill for a distance of approximately I 360 metres in a south westerly direction to enable Thames Water to carry out replacements to water mains. Alternative route: via Tockenham (unaffected length) - Tockenham Road - A3102 The Hillocks -Tockenham Corner and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 26 November 2019 will now recommence on 23 March 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 for one day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) West End (Part), Bremhill; from its property known as West End Farm for a distance of approximately 100 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer repairs. Alternative route: via West End (unaffected length) - Foxham Road - Station Road - Lye Common -C132 and vice versa.
